Dedication, talent, passion, the best technology and excellence in each step of the processes are the real added values that combine with nature, which praises us with the best of itself.
A blazing sun, the ideal altitude, and a privileged soil, that’s how Riglos´ story begins.
Under these extraordinary conditions our grapes acquire intense colors, complex aromas and unforgettable flavors.
Man and nature work hand in hand. Harvest is done at dawn, manually and in small plastic boxes so as to assure that the grapes get to the winery in good shape to be processed. When the grapes reach the winery they are cooled down at 3º C. This is the ideal temperature to keep them in excellent conditions and to fix the aromas and tastes that will give personality to the future wine.
After a double selection of grapes, the fermentation / maceration process starts in small, state-of-the-art, stainless steel tanks.
Once this process is finished the wines are transferred to first use French oak barrels, where they will rest for 18 to 24 months under the devoted care of our enologists.
After this aging period, the wines are bottled and stored for 12 more months before they reach the market. Then, this it is up to the consumer whether to drink it or keep it in store for some more time.
